For many churches NBN and Wireless broadband will be ideal solutions, and hopefully cost effective enough to make work. For larger churches, churches in areas without NBN or churches with more complicated requirements you may want to consider other options such as "bonded" ADSL, Fibre Optic or Wireless Ethernet. Content filtering with SAFE! by Real World*
Real World offers a protected internet service that enforces Google Safe Search and restricts website and material that would usually not be appropriate in a church or ministry context. SAFE helps guard ministry staff, volunteers and congregation members, and when combined with supervision, accountability and common sense provides a helpful way to work with your teams.

SAFE standard blocks most common pornography and gambling sites using URL and iP based filtering.

SAFE plus additionally blocks a number of media and news sites, online forums and other areas which may be sources for inappropriate material.

Live Streaming*

We are currently in unprecedented times. There is extra demand on telecommunications networks and more people than ever are activating services. This means that speeds may be lower than usual, and activation times may be longer.

Most of our customers still see peak busy speeds on an NBN50 plan of 45Mbps. This can vary due to line quality, and other factors outside our control.

4G speeds are determined by the quality of the Optus mobile network in your area. If you have an Optus mobile you can check the coverage and speed, or use the coverage checker available on Optus' website.
