Starting February 2024, Real World will be deprecating our mail relay gateways.

Mail Relay gateways have provided a convenient method for customers to relay email from devices such as servers, routers, scanners and faxes. As email technologies have progressed over the last 10 years, these devices have often retained legacy settings and configurations.

Starting in February 2024, major email providers are changing their mail acceptance rules to ensure that outbound email messages are “authenticated”. Unfortunately our outbound mail relays are not able to authenticate messages for customer domains and emails, and as a result we will be retiring these services.

Instead of using our mail services, customers are encouraged to configure their devices to relay email using their mail hosting provider. Many of these services now support secure device authentication using OAUTH and other technologies, ensuring reliable and secure connection.

Managed and Ad-Hoc support customers can contact our team for support to migrate their devices to authenticated mail delivery via their email hosting platform (M365, Google or other systems).
