Claude Implement Skill

A Claude Code skill that keeps AI implementation anchored to your spec: it tracks every requirement, re-reads the relevant sections before each task, and verifies the result against the spec.

AI-generated image

Hand an AI a detailed spec and the start goes well. It reads the document, breaks the work down, and writes code that matches. So why does the finished thing so often miss requirements? Because as the conversation grows and context compacts, the model drifts: it works from a fuzzy memory of the spec instead of the spec itself. Requirements slip. By the time you verify, you've built the wrong thing.

The Implement skill gives the work a persistent anchor. It builds a tracker that maps every requirement to its section in your spec and to where it was implemented, and re-reads the relevant sections before each task, so the model always works from the source of truth. At the end it walks the spec section by section and produces a gap analysis showing exactly what's missing and where to find it.

We built it because we kept hitting the drift problem ourselves, and we use it on our own work, including this website. Free and open source, for Claude Code or Claude.ai.

Key Features

Builds a tracker mapping every requirement to its spec section and where it was implemented
Re-reads the relevant spec sections before each task, so work doesn't drift from the source
Verification: a section-by-section gap analysis against the spec
Works in Claude Code and in Claude.ai projects
