Boardroom and meeting room AV — designed to start on time, every time

Cameras, displays, microphones and control systems, joined up with Microsoft Teams, your room booking and your network — designed and installed by an AV team that runs the network it all sits on.

Designed to start on time. Every time.

Most corporate meetings start late because the room doesn’t cooperate — a cable someone unplugged, a microphone level nobody can find, a join button that asks for permissions the room doesn’t have. By the time it’s working, a few minutes have evaporated and a remote attendee has wandered off to make coffee.

Properly designed AV is invisible. You walk in, the screens are awake, the panel shows the right meeting, you tap join, and you’re away. Everyone in the room is heard without leaning toward a microphone, the people dialling in can see and hear properly, and nobody dreads the boardroom any more. That’s the standard we build to.

We install certified Microsoft Teams Rooms — properly tied into your Microsoft 365 tenancy, your room booking, and Teams Phone or CloudPBX where calling is part of the meeting — as well as Zoom Rooms where that’s your platform. We design boardrooms with dual displays, ceiling microphone arrays and cameras that follow whoever’s speaking; everyday meeting rooms with a single screen, a camera bar and a booking panel on the wall; huddle and training spaces; and town-hall rooms with large-format displays or LED walls. Q-SYS is our platform of choice for room audio and control, accredited and installed every week, alongside Yealink and Poly for conferencing and Logitech where it fits — and we’re an ETC Authorised Service Provider where the AV meets entertainment lighting control. In other words, this is gear we actually specify and install every week, not a brochure we hand off to someone else.

The AV rides on a network we build and run

There’s a gap that trips up most meeting rooms. Plenty of AV firms are excellent with the cameras, microphones and control panels but treat the network as someone else’s problem. Plenty of IT teams are excellent with the network but treat the AV as someone else’s problem. The room ends up stranded between the two.

We do both. The AV runs on the network our engineers design and on the Microsoft 365 tenancy we look after day to day — cabling, switching, the room accounts, the Teams licensing, the support, all one engagement. There’s no handover gap, and that’s the whole point: we can give a meeting room the network priority that keeps video smooth, sign the room in to Microsoft 365 cleanly, route calls into the room, and make every room behave the same way across every office.

Hybrid meetings are where it matters most

The hardest meetings to run well are hybrid — half the people in the room, half dialling in. The quiet voice at the far end of the table still has to be heard. The people at home have to be shown at a size that keeps them in the conversation rather than relegated to a corner. We design for that on purpose, so remote attendees feel like part of the meeting instead of visitors to it.

You usually don’t have to start over

A lot of rooms worked well five years ago and don’t really work now. Often the screen and the cabling are still fine; it’s the video unit, the fixed camera and the microphones that have aged out. We replace what needs replacing and keep what’s still good, so the room comes back better than new for far less than a full rebuild. When the trouble is really the wireless or network underneath — which we often inherit from someone else’s work — the fix lives in the network design as much as the AV hardware. We see the whole picture because we run the whole picture.

Same engineering, different stage

Boardroom AV is one half of our AV practice. The other half is Production Network Infrastructure — the network, firewalls, wireless and temporary installs behind film, TV and live events. It’s the same engineering on a different stage. From boardrooms to blockbusters.

Why it matters

Meetings start on time

The most common AV complaint is simply 'the room doesn't work' — cables that won't connect, mic levels nobody knows how to set, a join button that fails at the worst moment. Designed and run properly, AV becomes invisible and meetings start when they're meant to.

Boardroom-grade, not consumer-grade

There's a real difference between a consumer bar that survives one meeting and a properly engineered boardroom that handles every meeting cleanly for years. We build the second kind.

Network and AV in one engagement

Cameras, microphones, displays and control panels all live on your network. We design the network and the AV together — and run both — so the room actually supports the meetings you're trying to have.

Hybrid work, properly handled

Hybrid meetings — half the people in the room, half remote — are where most AV falls down. Beamforming mics, auto-framing cameras and well-placed displays make remote participants feel like part of the meeting, not visitors to it.
