Procurement, Licensing & Lifecycle
Procurement is the work nobody wants to see. The website should say so. We don’t sell hardware as a transaction — we run it as a managed lifecycle that starts before the order goes in and ends when the device is returned to vendor or retired.
What we sell
Hardware supply, software licensing, renewals, and the boring but critical lifecycle around them — quoting, ordering, deployment, retirement, return-to-vendor for repair. Procurement as a managed service.
How we deliver it
Distribution through our national distributor relationships for hardware. Direct Microsoft licensing relationships (including academic Open Value where eligible). Vendor accounts with Dropbox, Bitdefender, CodeTwo, Dell and Ubiquiti for the specific products our customers consume. Renewal calendars, monitored proactively. A team that follows up rather than waiting for the customer to chase.
Who it’s for
Any customer for whom “buy and deploy that laptop” is supposed to be invisible. Particularly relevant for organisations whose IT capacity doesn’t include a procurement coordinator — most SMB and mid-market customers, most NFPs, most schools.
What it looks like in practice
- New-starter onboarding. Supplying and delivering a laptop for a named new employee at a complex-infrastructure construction firm by a specific date — owned end-to-end.
- Accessory and licence pairing. A Dell pen and a Bitdefender licence not activating after laptop deployment at a customer site — diagnosed, remediated, the customer never had to puzzle out the failure.
- Software renewal advisory. A Dropbox renewal enquiry for a medical practice. A domain renewal reminder for an academic domain at 90 days out. Additional software licence purchases for a youth education provider. Each tracked, each actioned, each renewed cleanly.
- Repair lifecycle. Following up on a laptop sent for repair at an income-protection insurer and coordinating either return or recommissioning. Devices don’t drop off the radar.
- Licensing renewal at scale. A Microsoft Windows Server Open Value licensing agreement renewal for a theological college’s academic estate. Eligibility checked, agreement renewed, tenant reconciled.
- End-of-life disposal and rehoming. When kit reaches the end of useful life, we handle disposal through our network of secure disposal and e-waste partners. Where a device still has life in it, we can also coordinate rehoming to a charity or third-party recipient — particularly for not-for-profit customers who’d rather see hardware reused than landfilled.
Why this matters
The defensible difference is that procurement isn’t a separate transaction — it’s a managed lifecycle. The laptop bought today is the laptop deployed tomorrow, repaired in twelve months, and returned in three years. The domain registered this year is the domain renewed next year, monitored every year, and migrated when the customer needs it to be. The licence purchased today is the licence reconciled at renewal, with our records matching the customer’s headcount.
That’s the unsexy work the website should not pretend doesn’t exist. Most of the job is doing it well. Doing it well is what makes the rest of the relationship trustworthy.

Why it matters
Procurement should be invisible
If buying and deploying a laptop is something you're noticing, we're not doing our job. The right device, the right software, the right access, by the right date — that's the standard.
We hold the relationships
Distribution through our national distributor relationships. Microsoft licensing directly, including academic Open Value. Vendor accounts with Dropbox, Bitdefender, CodeTwo, Dell and Ubiquiti. You don't need to chase ten suppliers — we already work with them.
Renewals are managed, not surprises
Domain renewals tracked from 90 days out. Dropbox and software licence renewals advised proactively. A Microsoft Open Value academic renewal isn't a panic — it's a calendar entry with a plan.
Buy → deploy → repair → retire
Procurement is one stage in a lifecycle. The laptop you order today gets deployed tomorrow, repaired in twelve months, and disposed of securely at end of life — through our network of secure disposal and e-waste partners, or rehomed to a charity if the device has life left in it. We follow it through every stage.
