Business Ethernet — dedicated symmetric fibre, engineered for the site you've actually got

We deliver business-grade Ethernet over multiple carrier networks: NBN Co Enterprise Ethernet, Telstra Ethernet Access, Telstra MLL, Vocus Fibre and Optus Fibre. Same functional service, different paths underneath — and the path is chosen for the build, the geography and the commercial fit, not because we have a quota with one carrier.

Dedicated, symmetric fibre for businesses where a connectivity fault costs revenue by the hour. One product family, multiple carrier paths, and one team that owns the outcome end to end — engineered to suit your sites, your build and your commercials.

Business Ethernet is what you reach for when the NBN won’t cut it: multi-site enterprises, cloud-heavy estates, latency-sensitive platforms, production houses moving terabytes, offices where upload symmetry actually matters, and any site where downtime is measured in lost revenue rather than inconvenience.

In concept it’s straightforward — a dedicated symmetric fibre service with a guaranteed bandwidth profile, a real SLA with defined time-to-restore and escalation, and a path that’s yours rather than contended with the neighbourhood. What changes from site to site is the carrier underneath, and that’s ours to manage on your behalf.

One service, the right carrier path

We deliver Business Ethernet over multiple carrier networks — NBN Co Enterprise Ethernet, Telstra Ethernet Access, Telstra Managed Leased Line, Vocus Fibre and Optus Fibre. The path is chosen for the build, the geography and the commercial fit, never because we have a quota with one carrier. No single carrier covers the whole country well, so the multi-carrier mix is what makes near-national reach real: between Enterprise Ethernet and Telstra’s access products we cover essentially every populated part of Australia, including remote and regional sites that other providers won’t build to.

Most customers don’t care which network sits underneath; they care that the service works, the SLA holds, and the team that engineered it answers the phone when something needs attention. We hold direct carrier relationships across those networks, so we field the carrier-side escalation ourselves — not a ticket queue. The path-selection conversation is ours to have; the accountability stays with us.

Built for cloud, scaled for enterprise

Speeds scale to 10 Gbps where the build supports it, with native 10G into the Sydney and Melbourne CBD POIs and broader 10G coverage expanding across the Telstra footprint. Every service is symmetric — upload matches download, which is what cloud backup, video and hosted line-of-business applications actually depend on — with static IPs, single or block, and BGP options for multi-homed customers.

Business Ethernet often pairs with private cloud interconnect. We land services onto Megaport and IAA for direct peering with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud and a long list of SaaS providers, and hold presence at Equinix for cross-connect. The payoff is immediate: predictable latency, lower egress costs, a stronger security posture and higher throughput. For customers doing heavy cloud work, the interconnect often pays for itself.

We can engineer paths from your site direct to our own infrastructure across seven Australian datacentre cities — Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Canberra, Darwin and Perth — to your own DC presence, or to a third-party facility where you hold workloads.

Who it’s for

Business Ethernet suits multi-site enterprises bringing head office and branches onto one carrier-grade standard; cloud-heavy businesses running backup, ERP, Microsoft 365 voice and AWS or Azure workloads; latency-sensitive applications in financial services, real-time platforms and voice-critical environments; production and event customers moving terabytes against unforgiving timelines; hosting and platform businesses running services others depend on; and hybrid setups where datacentre, branch and cloud all need to talk to each other reliably.

Part of a wider network design

Business Ethernet often sits at the centre of a design that also draws on Dark Fibre for point-to-point or managed wavelengths on long-haul, IP Transit for wholesale IP delivery, Private Networks for VRF, MPLS and customer L2/L3 between sites, SD-WAN to tie multi-site links together with policy-based routing, 4G/5G Data Solutions for diverse-path outage protection or fast-deploy primary, Colocation for cloud-presence or hosting at our datacentres, and Unified Communications when high-quality voice and video depend on real bandwidth.

What's included

  • Dedicated symmetric fibre — scaling to 10 Gbps where the build supports it
  • Multi-carrier delivery across NBN Co Enterprise Ethernet, Telstra Ethernet Access, Telstra MLL, Vocus Fibre and Optus Fibre — the right path for each site
  • Near-national reach — between Enterprise Ethernet and Telstra's access products we cover essentially every populated part of Australia, including remote and regional sites
  • Native 10G into Sydney and Melbourne CBD POIs, with broader 10G coverage expanding across the Telstra footprint
  • Megaport, IAA and Equinix interconnect for direct cloud peering and DC cross-connects
  • Static IPs — single or block, with BGP options for multi-homed customers
  • Carrier-grade SLAs on uptime and time-to-restore, with defined escalation
  • Real fibre engineering — site survey, build, commissioning and ongoing operations

Why it matters

One product family, multiple carrier paths

Business Ethernet is the family; the path underneath is chosen for the site. Enterprise Ethernet over NBN where it reaches; Telstra Ethernet Access, Telstra MLL, Vocus Fibre or Optus Fibre where NBN doesn't or where the commercials favour a different carrier. You get one service and one standard — we engineer the path.

Reach where it actually matters

Between Enterprise Ethernet and Telstra's access products we cover essentially every populated part of Australia, including remote and regional sites others won't build to. If you've got a site, we can probably get fibre to it — and if we can't, we'll tell you that honestly before quoting.

Direct to your cloud

Via Megaport and IAA we land you direct on AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and other providers — removing the internet hop, the latency variance and a chunk of the egress bill compared with internet-only access.

Real fibre engineering, not just provisioning

We hold direct carrier relationships across the networks behind Business Ethernet, so we engineer the path end to end — site survey, build coordination, commissioning, ongoing operations — and we field the carrier-side escalation ourselves when something needs attention. Not a ticket queue.
