Enterprise

Enterprise IT delivered by people who operate the infrastructure underneath.

Real World runs its own datacentres across seven Australian cities, its own carrier-grade network, its own backup-as-a-service and its own cloud telephony. We work across enterprise construction, contract works, film and entertainment, and technology — from office fitout through ongoing managed services to specialist network engagements and on-demand support.

Enterprise customers need a partner that can engineer, not just configure: backup that survives a real recovery, networks that hold up when one carrier has a bad day, cyber security that produces the evidence an auditor or a board asks for, cloud voice that fails over cleanly, and Microsoft 365 tuned for hundreds of identities rather than the out-of-the-box defaults. Real World does this work as our normal cadence across enterprise construction, contract works, film and entertainment, and technology. We run the platforms underneath it ourselves — our own datacentre footprint across seven Australian cities, our own backup-as-a-service, our own CloudPBX cloud telephony, and our own carrier-grade network (AS45437), alongside Real World Networks, our separate sister carrier with Statutory Infrastructure Provider designation. We’re not stretching to reach enterprise; we’re an enterprise-grade operator that also looks after small businesses and not-for-profits with the same disciplines, sized appropriately. When something goes wrong, one accountable team carries it — the people who run the platform are the people who fix it.

The brief

Challenges we hear

You need infrastructure with a real operator behind it

Resold backup, voice and connectivity puts a queue of support tickets between you and the people who actually run the platform. Real World runs the infrastructure itself — our own backup destination, CloudPBX as our own telephony platform, and our own carrier-grade network (AS45437) — so an incident gets to an engineer, not a triage script.

Compliance and governance are not optional

ISO certification, board-level cyber reporting, security questionnaires, supply-chain audits. Enterprises need a managed services partner that can produce evidence, follow change control, and document what was done and when. We work this way as standard.

Multi-site, multi-carrier reality

Head office, branches, project sites, remote workers, partner DMZs. You need an integration partner that can build site-to-site networks across multiple carriers, manage SD-WAN, hold direct interconnect with the major telcos, and design for resilience rather than single-supplier dependency.

Microsoft 365 at enterprise scale, done properly

Conditional access, Intune, Defender, information protection, compliance reporting. The work isn't running the licences — it's running the policies, tuning the rules, watching the alerts, and producing the evidence when auditors ask.

Lifecycle management at fleet scale

Hundreds of laptops, dozens of sites, evolving licensing, hardware approaching end of life, supplier invoices to reconcile. The lifecycle work that quietly keeps an enterprise running needs an operator with the discipline to run it. Most providers treat this as a transaction. We treat it as a continuous process.

What we do

Services for enterprise

The services we lead with for enterprise customers — sized to the work, priced for the relationship.

Why Real World

Why Enterprises Choose Real World

We operate at the carrier and platform layer

Where most providers stop at 'we can configure that for you', we go down a layer — connectivity we engineer to the workload, backup that runs on infrastructure we own, and our own datacentre footprint across Australia. It's the difference between selling IT services and being a service provider.

A datacentre footprint across seven Australian cities

Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Canberra, Darwin and Perth. Not one rented rack — real geographic diversity for backup and DR design.

Direct relationships with the major carriers

Direct interconnect with Telstra, Superloop, Vocus, Transgrid and others, and voice carriers behind CloudPBX including Symbio, Pivotel, Over the Wire and Vocus. No single-carrier dependency — a call or a link is never riding on one supplier.

Engineering discipline that survives an audit

Documented change control. Evidence trails. Penetration testing as a service line. Cyber-essentials and ISO-aligned ways of working. The kind of detail that satisfies a board, an auditor and a major-customer security questionnaire.

We migrate, we don't just maintain

Legacy remote access onto modern zero-trust networking. On-prem network gear onto cloud management. Hybrid Exchange onto Microsoft 365. Substantial change projects are part of our normal cadence, not a one-off engagement.
