On a production, the infrastructure only gets noticed when it fails — so our job is to make sure it never does. That unglamorous layer has to come together fast and hold under pressure: a date that can’t move on one side, a venue that was never built for it on the other. We’ve delivered against that brief before, which is why we don’t flinch at it now.
What makes that work is the team behind it. The same engineers who run business networks for our enterprise customers also stand on a film set at 5am making sure the production wifi is up before the crew arrives — from boardrooms to blockbusters, same engineering, different stage. Challenges we hear
Production timelines don't tolerate delivery slip
When the shoot starts on Monday, the site network has to be live on Sunday. When the season opens on Friday, the AV has to work at Wednesday's tech rehearsal. We've done this before — temporary networks, on-site wireless, structured cabling under time pressure — and we know how to deliver against a date that can't move.
Unusual venues need unusual engineering
Warehouses, soundstages, marquees, heritage theatres, outdoor sites. Standard office IT thinking doesn't work. We engineer for the venue you've got — RF surveys for the wireless, structured cabling that survives a get-out, redundant uplinks where a single 4G failover isn't enough.
Equipment specification has to be right first time
There isn't time to discover a switch can't handle the multicast load, or that the access points don't have the throughput for a packed house all streaming on their phones. We've made those calls on previous productions and venue builds, so you inherit the lessons instead of learning them live.
NDA and discretion are part of the job
Major film and television productions need to know that whoever wires the network won't post photos on LinkedIn. We work to strict NDAs as a standard part of the engagement — and for some of our most distinctive jobs we'll never name the production publicly. We're comfortable working that way.

Theatres, venues and event producers speak a different language to corporate IT. Through our sister brand Lux Imperium, we already look after the entertainment technology inside working venues, so we understand the production cycle, the rehearsal calendar and the season rhythm.
